Trusted Media Brands is a media & direct marketing company. Their best-known media brands include Reader’s Digest, Taste of Home, The Family Handyman, and others. All combined, TMB’s publications reach over 44 million unique viewers a month.
With an expiring Manhattan lease, they sought an updated space to appeal to their younger employee base and clientele. Although TMB has six offices throughout the US, it had been many years since they had furnished an entire office starting from the bare shell. Mike Garzone, TMB’s VP, Supply Chain and Corporate Facilities, put the project out to bid. Although his RFP included a general sense of layout, he left the floorplan open to evaluate the vendor’s design capabilities.
TMB chose Jefferson Group to furnish their comfortable new space. In summary, he felt Jefferson’s creative proposal had physical appeal, functionality, and overall “a down-to-earth, common sense approach to the project.” Our cost advantage over the competition, while maintaining product and design quality, helped seal the deal.
With soft-close drawers and made in the USA, the DARRAN Reception desk is the centerpiece of the modern lobby area. In addition, the subtle details of the two Encore lounge chairs include a tapered back, carefully positioned tailoring, and gently sloping arms. Above all, these combine to provide guests with incomparable comfort when waiting.
Modern offices need a space for collaboration and informal workspace interactions. With this in mind, we combined the cafe with four-legged bar-stools from Grand Rapids Chair Company. These wood and steel bar-stools are lightweight, yet sturdy and welcoming for a quick refreshment stop or while talking with a colleague
The conference room chairs, supplied by AIS, are stunning from every angle. With clean lines along the back and a single tuft line facing on the front, the minimalist profile is clean and sophisticated. The easy-to-clean materials are soft, durable, and antimicrobial.
Private offices often come with high expectations and the Jefferson Group delivers – from the ground up. Due to the clean lines and broad selection of storage options of the AIS Calibrate Casegoods, it’s easy to support our client’s needs and preferences while ensuring a beautiful workspace.
AIS 3″ panels divide up the open space with remarkable flexibility and simplicity. The generous floor raceways for power, data and communications bring great functionality to the workstations. The frameless opaque glass stack-on dividers and two tone fabric panels provide a splash of color and warmth to the workspace. The coordinated desks and tables match the private offices in style to pull the whole office together.3
""It was a pleasure working with Ben and Erin. I really enjoyed collaborating on creative solutions for the physical layout design and furniture selection. I appreciated their knowledge and responsiveness. "
