LiRo Group is a commercial architecture and design firm with 13 offices in the tri-state area. LiRo Architects engaged Jefferson Group to furnish their NYC headquarters offices. The design theme was minimalistic, focusing attention on the panoramic view out from the 28th-floor vantage point which overlooks the harbor and Statue of Liberty.
A design challenge was to find flexible furniture to accommodate their growing firm. Jefferson’s solution was to provide Enwork workstations. Enwork’s state-of-the-art “power beam” allows power/data access as a separate unit away from the desks. Desks are freestanding and can be easily reconfigured into new layouts with new power beams. In addition to the workstations, Jefferson furnished multiple private offices and provided nine handcrafted “islands” designed to be used as collaboration areas.
