Furnishing a New Building to Meet the Brand's Vision

When the Carter Mario Law Firm decided to build a brand new building for their corporate headquarters in Milford, CT, they needed an office design and furniture company that was comfortable with large projects and could provide ideas and guidance to meet their design vision.  Most law firms are traditional and private, but Carter Mario wanted a modern look with open, state-of-the-art offices. With Jefferson Group they received custom modern office furniture that integrated into their extraordinary style within a traditional environment.

Custom Office Design

As a brand new building, every private office and community space needed to be furnished to reflect the spaces’ style and function.  Since the multiple conference rooms, private offices, work-spaces, and various public seating areas all needed furniture, the client utilized our designers and inspiration galleries for office design and furniture ideas.

We worked closely with the client, architect and contractor to ensure the furniture fit cleanly and complimented the overall look.  Additionally we offered recommendations and advice on how to separate the conference areas that may hold private communications from the public areas without compromising the open and expansive feel of the space.

Private Office Design and Custom Furniture

There are eight private offices in the building, and each has it’s own style to match the office occupant. By using our Office Space Planner, we created 3D renderings of the office furniture. Subsequently, these were used by the architect and designer to visualize the office before committing to a layout.

Perfect Fit, Fashion and Function

We worked within the client’s budget to provide Carter Mario with a functional and harmonious furniture match to their overall design style standards. For example, we performed multiple on-site pre-visits to match measurements and furnishings.  The project included coordinating furniture designs with other third-party products to ensure a concise and uniform incorporation of design. Above all, the project was completed on time and on budget, even with the complex timeline created by COVID and the pandemic shut-down.
